Couples Holistic Sailing Retreat On The Adriatic Coast

WHAT MAGIC COULD HAPPEN?

Finding the Passion

Rekindling the flame

Strengthen the love

FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN

Need to get away from everything and just be with that one that you fell in love with?

My couple therapy is normally a 10-week program but I have decided I would like to offer 5 couples to join me on a cruise where they can enhance their relationship to another level.

Could you see the two of you spending 8 days and 7 nights cruising the BEAUTIFUL Adriatic Coast of Croatia?

I have worked with many couples to improve their relationship. This retreat is not just for couples that feel they may need enhancing, it is for all couples at any stage in their relationship.

4 workshops on the cruise and one on one couple sessions if you would like to attend.

Day 1 (Saturday): Split

Split is known as the second largest city and one of the oldest cities of Croatia. The bustling cafes and boutique shopping available in the quaint cobbled back streets stand in perfect contrast to the local designer stores and award-winning restaurants on the tree-lined promenade. Nearby Trogir has likewise been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list and is where our boats are based and where you will depart from. The town was built entirely of stone and due to its preserved, antique look visitors have named it “The Stone Beauty”.

Day 2 (Sunday):    Šolta

The natural beauty of Šolta Island, located within a few hours of easy sailing from nearby Split, makes for a popular local haunt for yacht holiday goers. Roman Emperor Diocletian frequented the small town of Masilinca, situated on the lapping western shores of the island. Today, Solta Island remains an oasis of untouched natural beauty and picturesque, bayside local konobas. You will find the traditional way of life is still very much preserved, with the catch of day featuring on the delectable nightly specials boards!

Day 3 (Monday): Hvar

Stari Grad is one of the oldest towns in Europe, an ideal setting to wander the timeless streets, browsing the many local craft stores and get a taste of the finest cuisine in Croatia. The town clock tower and monastery are highlights of the unique architecture and offer peaceful spots to rest away the afternoon. A key feature of the area is the Stari Grad Plains, a UNESCO world heritage site, the perfect place to explore the island’s signature vineyards and scenery. A short trip from here is Hvar Town, known for its beautiful old fort, scenic surrounds and beautiful sunsets that have attracted celebrities and yacht elites for decades.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Šcedro

Along the south shore of the island of Hvar there is the small island of Šcedro. Protected as a nature park, it is a beacon of untouched beauty and natural wonders. The secluded bays you will find here have long been well known as a safe harbour and so are very popular with the yachting crowd, with beautiful restaurants serving delicious local fare. On the hill there is an abandoned village called Nastane, taking you back in time with picturesque stone houses and a glimpse of historic village life.

Day 5 (Wednesday): Korcula

Korcula Old Town is a medieval walled city, with the Venetian Renaissance architecture culminating in the splendid St Marks Cathedral, not to mention the intricate maze of streets surrounding it. Legend has it that Marco Polo was born in Korcula Town, with his house sporting a panoramic view stretching from east to west. Korcula Island is also known for excellent wine, with local vintage Posip served at state and diplomatic banquets. Reminiscent of Dubrovnik, Korcula Town oozes Mediterranean charm, with a glamorous selection of bars ensuring a vibrant atmosphere.

Day 6 (Thursday): Mljet National Park

Mljet is considered the most seductive of Croatia’s islands, covered by lush pine forests, dotted with vineyards and small villages. Half of the island is dedicated to Mljet National Park featuring the spectacular saltwater lakes, with cycling and walking paths surrounding the clear green waters. The Benedictine Monastery can be explored by kayak, the church features awe-inspiring altarpieces carved from local stone. Yachts will moor at one of the many traditional restaurants and bars, offering the perfect opportunity for sunset drinks and a delicious Croatian feast.

Day 7 (Friday): Elaphiti Island

Croatia is known for it’s inviting and warm turquoise water, and nowhere else will you find this beautiful sight showcased better. The playground of royalty and the wealthy, the multitude of secluded bays and hidden coves will make for an ideal swim stop or intimate evening under the stars. One of the most popular villages and the largest on the islands, Sipan is revered as one of the top secluded bays, featuring stunning sunsets and an idyllic setting, rounded off by an excellent authentic Croatian restaurant.

Day 8 (Saturday): Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik was founded in the 7th century and with its majestic city walls intact, stands chief amongst the many Croatian UNESCO world heritage sites. Named as one of the 10 best medieval walled cities in the world, Dubrovnik is an excellent starting or finishing point for exploring the Adriatic coast. Nicknamed the “Pearl of the Adriatic” it is steeped in stunning architecture and is known as an elite destination. The city walls are best explored early in the morning or mid-afternoon, leaving you free to discover the first class restaurants hidden away amongst the meandering cobbled streets.
